Cristopher Carlisle, PA-C, is an NCCPA-certified and dermatology-trained physician assistant serving patients at Florida Dermatology Associates in Palm Bay, Florida.
Chris grew up in Miami and began his healthcare career as a medic in the USAF, serving stateside in the Vietnam era. He then attended nursing school, graduating as a Registered Nurse in 1982 from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Miami, Florida.
Chris worked in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care, including a 6-month stint in a Coronary Care Unit at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel. After six years as an Emergency Services Director in a rural Colorado Hospital, Chris returned to school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks. Here, he achieved his diploma as a Physician Assistant in 1997.
Since graduating, Chris has worked in Emergency Medicine, Field Medicine, and Urgent Care, as well as practicing for over ten years in Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Chris enjoys spending time with his four children and his grandson in his spare time. He also enjoys dancing, playing pickleball, and rooting for the Miami Dolphins.
